63-year-old dies in house fire; district's 1st fatality in nearly 30 years

A man died in a fire earlier this morning in Morgan County. The fire was reported just after 2:30 a.m. at a house in the 200 block of Center Drive in the Brookmoore subdivision along Ind. 67, south of Mooresville, according to WTHR (Channel 13), the Star's news-gathering partner.
